Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. Greenhouse gas emissions that act like a blanket wrapped around the Earth, trapping the sun’s heat and raising temperatures

Intense droughts, water scarcity, severe fires, rising sea levels, flooding, melting polar ice, catastrophic storms and declining biodiversity are major consequences of climate. We are developing awareness in society for use of renewable energy and importance of tree plantation programs.

We respect river as ‘Lokmata’ and worshiped as ‘Mother’ in India. The life is not possible without rivers. Rivers are integral both to human society and to the environment .The pollution of those rivers can cause a range of adverse effects on plants, animals and human life.

There are twenty seven most polluted rivers in Maharashtra and the Krishna River is one of them. We have taken initiative in Krishna river conservation project. Twelve colleges with different discipline are participating in this project. The main object is to study in detail sources of pollution, , effect of pollution, control of pollution, study flora, fauna and to develop social awareness.

Krashi Vidnyan Kendra [KVK] has played important role in agricultural development in Maharastra. To study new drought resistant verities of crops, innovative techniques used in production and processing of crops and to give advanced training to farmers. We are going to start Dream Krashi Vidnyan Kendra [DKVK] in drought prone area. The object is to give recent knowledge of farming to the young farmers mainly from drought prone area
